GO Topeka, Greater Topeka Chamber of Commerce, Washburn Small Business Development Center, 712 Innovations and Downtown Topeka, Inc. are turning Small Business Week into a month-long celebration by hosting classes, events and training sessions throughout May. The events and training will assist entrepreneurs in taking their business to the next level.
The NOTO planning initiative has been busy generating ideas and concepts for the development and enhancement of the North Topeka Arts District. On the evening of April 6 the consulting team will conduct a community visioning workshop that will address the following:
This year the NOTO Anonmyous Service Crawl will be focused on the outer overall appearance of the NOTO District.
Volunteers from various Topeka churches and partner organizations will come together on April 30 to participate in Topeka’s 10th annual ShareFest. Over 1,200 volunteers are expected to donate their time and tools to add some beauty to nine USD 501 schools/sites as well as not-for-profit organizations including Boys and Girls Club and two sites at the Topeka Rescue Mission.

March 30, 6:00 PM at the Silver Lake United Methodist Church citizens are enocuraged to join the Friends of the Silver Lake Library soup supper and visioning workshop.
